Former Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Jason Kelce shares four daughters with his wife Kylie. The Super Bowl champion has been candid about his and Kylie’s experiences raising girls.

But their willingness to make aspects of their personal lives public has sometimes given online critics the opportunity to share their opinions, even in cases where they were not asked for them.

During a recent edition of her podcast “Not Gonna Lie,” Kylie addressed the topic of her children’s names.

Kylie took issue with the line of questioning that claimed her daughters were given “boy names.” She described the question as “anger bait.”

“The next question seems to be pure anger bait. ‘What’s with the boys’ names?’ “I’ll tell you what’s up with the boys’ names,” Kelce said. “My husband and I liked gender-neutral names for our daughters.”

Jason and Kylie’s daughters are called Wyatt, 6 years old; Elliott, 4; Bennett, 2; and Finn, 7 months. Kylie added that the name Wyatt was selected before she or Jason knew the gender.

Kylie made it clear that she wasn’t seeking unsolicited opinions on the names she and Jason chose for their children.

“The part I disagree with about people who have a problem with our names is that I didn’t really ask. I didn’t ask what they thought about my kids’ names. My husband and I agreed on the names. We like them. Honestly, you should try naming a human being. It’s not easy. And so, yeah, I’m fine.”

During a recent episode of the “New Heights” podcast, which Jason co-hosts with his brother Travis Kelce, the 38-year-old former NFL star revealed that he is often on the same page with his wife when it comes to disciplining their children.

“We’re on the same page almost all the time,” Jason said. “We’re both pretty disciplinarians when it comes to girls.”

He also recalled the feelings he experienced when he became a father for the first time.

“When I first found out I was having Wyatt, I thought, ‘Okay. I’m not going to raise her any different than how I would raise a boy. I’m going to make her tough and disciplined, and I’m not going to be like that, like a daddy’s girl who gets everything she wants,'” she said.

“So the moment she came out, it was really hard not to be that dad… it’s really hard when they look at me a certain way not to give in, like, instantly.”
