James Cameron almost directed the Wicked musical years before Jon M. Chu joined.
In a recent interview, the Avatar The director revealed that he really loves musicals and would love to do one one day.
During the talk, Cameron confirmed that he almost achieved the goal. Wicked musical and even had a meeting with Universal Pictures, but for one reason he pulled out of the project.
