Sindh authorities on Friday ordered all private schools in the province to be lenient on the uniform policy during winter.

In a statement, Professor Rafia Mallah, Additional Director, Directorate of Inspection and Registration of Private Institutions, Sindh, emphasized that the health, comfort and safety of students should be prioritized during the winter season.

Schools have been ordered to allow children to wear necessary warm clothing, including sweaters, jackets, coats, jackets, hats, socks and other winter clothing, regardless of uniform specifications.

The decision, aimed at ensuring the protection of students while in class during bad weather, has been shared across the province, with the department advising school administrations to implement the direction in true spirit, while avoiding imposing dress code restrictions.

The decision is aimed at ensuring that students remain protected from the bitter cold while attending classes.

The management further asked school administrations to avoid imposing restrictions on outerwear during this period.
