American comedian and actor Sebastián Maniscalco reacted after Marcello Hernández did an imitation of him in Saturday night live.
Hernandez’s parody of the 52-year-old not only got his seal of approval but also sparked a flattering reaction.
“They did a great job. I was very flattered that they did that,” he said Bookmaker said the actor, revealing that the SNL The star had even asked him to join the sketch for a cameo, but he was unable to attend due to prior commitments.
“He actually called me the Thursday before the show and said, ‘Do you want to come and do a cameo at the end?’ I couldn’t do it because I was performing in Palm Springs,” he explained.
“But I thought this kid did a fantastic job,” added the comedian, in a preview clip of his upcoming appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show on December 2nd.
Known for his physical comedy style and over-the-top delivery, Maniscalco noted that he has yet to debut on the NBC comedy special, but that the impersonation was “absolutely loved.”
He even joked if Barrymore could help him as a member of the Five-Timers Club, notably the actress has hosted six times.
“I’m here today to make some kind of request, and maybe you can help me.” The Irish said the actor. “You’re taking up all the spots!”
