- There has been another leak for Grand Theft Auto 6
- It’s supposedly from a former Rockstar animator.
- The demo reel shows a couple of scenes that give us clues about incoming features, including bike rental stations and the ability to hop on the vans.
If you’re desperate for more GTA 6 leaks, and who isn’t right now? – We’ve caught what is supposedly some early animation work on the game that provides some clues about potential features.
GameRant noticed that a video (from Vimeo) was flagged on Reddit, supposedly a demo build by an animator who used to be employed by Rockstar, and did some prototype work on GTA 6.
That video has now been removed, but not before the demo reel was widely documented (and no doubt downloaded for sharing elsewhere).
It shows a couple of interesting scenes that shed light on what we could see in Grand Theft Auto 6, one of which is Lucia (one of the main characters) jumping off the roof of a truck. The animations indicate that players could ride in the bed of a pickup truck.
The other clue taught here is an animated scene of a player character using a bike rental station, grabbing a bike and getting on it, then dismounting and returning the vehicle to the station. That suggests this will be a way to get around Vice City in GTA 6.
Analysis: is this leak genuine?
Of course, these aren’t many advances, but many players are hungry for anything they can learn about GTA 6. Anticipation only seems to have been heightened by the two major delays that the potential player base has suffered (and which, in the meantime, have made players scramble to find a satisfactory alternative to an open-world solution).
But is this a genuine leak? Obviously, we don’t know for sure, but it certainly feels like a real spill, given the format of the video and the fact that it contains other demo animation scenes from Red Dead Redemption 2 and Max Payne 3. There’s also been something of a scramble to get it removed, and that urgency makes it feel like a legitimate look at GTA 6’s early content.
If so, I’m guessing from the way it happened that it’s an accidental leak of a demo video that was really only intended to be viewed by potential employers (as a private video).
Who knows, ultimately, but even if we could be sure this is genuine, it represents only early work on GTA 6. Meaning that while Rockstar might have planned bike rental stations and hopping on vans, at the time, these are ideas that might have since been abandoned.
For now, however, we have to wait again for November 2026, barring further delays, and perhaps watch the two official trailers again, which we know are glimpses of the goodness of the games that will come next year.
