ATC reserves the verdict on Dr. Yasmin’s statement

LAHORE:

An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Tuesday reserved its verdict on a bail plea filed by PTI leader Dr Yasmin Rashid in a case related to the burning of a police vehicle near Jinnah House during the May 9 violence.

ATC Judge Manzer Ali Gill conducted the proceedings and reserved the verdict after the arguments of both sides were completed. The court indicated it would announce the decision on Wednesday.

During the hearing, lawyer Rana Mudassir Umar presented arguments on behalf of Dr Yasmin.

The Sarwar Road police had a case against Dr Yasmin and others for setting fire to a police vehicle.
