ISLAMABAD:
Railway Minister Hanif Abbasi on Tuesday pledged to modernize Pakistan Railways and said ongoing reforms, including next-generation stations, digital upgrades, better passenger services, increased revenue collection and greater regional connectivity, are key to transforming the sector.
He expressed these views while addressing the 2025 National Tourism Award ceremony.
Abbasi urged Discover Pakistan to highlight Pakistan Railways’ reforms, successes and public service initiatives, noting that the broadcaster already plays a vital role in introducing the country to the world.
