A new NYT Strands puzzle appears at midnight every day for your time zone, which means some people are always playing “today’s game” while others play “yesterday’s.” If you are instead looking for Wednesday’s puzzle then click here: NYT Strands Tips and Answers for Wednesday, December 3 (Game #640).

The answers to today’s Strands game #641 are…
- BOLD
- SURE
- ASSERTIVE
- COOL
- SURE
- SURE
- SPANGRAM: LIKEABOSS
- My rating: Hard
- My score: 1 track
I’m the exact opposite of every word in today’s search, which is possibly why I’ve never been a boss and possibly also why I struggled so hard to find them all.
The word BOSS actually appears twice on the board and I had it as a non-game word before discovering the spangram.
One clue gave me BOLD, which wasn’t the most generous of starts, but it was enough to make me CONFIDENT about the subject.
Answers from yesterday’s NYT Strands (Wednesday, December 3, game #640)
- GRAPHIC
- THEOREM
- FUNCTION
- EQUATION
- CALCULATION
- SPANGRAM: MATH CLASS
