Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse created a bold bitcoin price prediction during a panel discussion alongside Solana Foundation President Lily Liu and Binance CEO Richard Teng at Binance Blockchain Week.
He stated that he expects BTC to reach $180,000 by the end of 2026, indicating strong optimism about the cryptocurrency’s long-term price prospects.
Teng did not give any price targets, but said he expects prices to be higher than they are, while emphasizing that he is focusing on long-term growth, not short-term volatility.
Meanwhile, Liu said prices are likely to exceed $100,000.
Bitcoin changed hands at around $93,000 at press time, having hit a record high of over $126,000 two months ago.
