Princess Kate unwraps Christmas early inside Westminster Abbey

Princess Kate kicked off the festive season in true royal style, giving fans an early glimpse of the magic behind her annual carol service.

Just hours before guests arrive at Westminster Abbey, the Princess of Wales revealed a behind-the-scenes look at the preparations.

Westminster Abbey set the tone first, sharing a photo of its grand interior on Twitter, glowing under white lights and red bows, announcing: “Final touches are being put ahead of Together for Christmas.”

Shortly after, Kate added her own touch of charm, posting a new YouTube video featuring family favorites Dame Mary Berry, Angellica Bell and Tom Allen.

Tonight’s service, now in its fifth year, will welcome 1,600 guests for one of Kate’s most significant traditions.

The celebration brings together families, community heroes and household names, with readings by Hollywood icons Kate Winslet and Chiwetel Ejiofor, plus a heartfelt appearance by Prince William.

A highlight of this year’s service will be a performance by young musicians from Future Talent, the charity founded by the late Duchess of Kent to champion gifted children from low-income families.

Kensington Palace also treated fans to another series of images, showing a towering Christmas tree adorned with poinsettias, bold red baubles and candle-style lights, along with stunning shots of the Abbey’s stained glass windows and pulpit dressed for the evening.
