Joe Jonas is setting the record straight after a fan suggested that the Jonas Brothers could be taking on new projects due to financial issues.
The comment came after the preview of Rock Camp 3 dropped, sparking rumors and some wild assumptions online.
One social media user reshared the trailer for X and asked, “Genuine question, are the Jonas Brothers in serious debt or something?”
Joe quickly responded and ended the speculation with a nostalgic reference.
“God forbid Connect 3 goes back to where Connect 3 left off,” he tweeted, pointing out the famous line Kevin uttered in the first movie.
Joe, Kevin and Nick have been in the spotlight together since 2005, and now they return as Connect 3 once again for the new Disney sequel.
They will reprise their roles as Shane, Jason and Nate Gray, as well as serve as executive producers.
Demi Lovato, who starred in the original films as Mitchie Torres, also produces, although her on-screen involvement has not been confirmed.
The official trailer shows the trio returning to the summer music camp where it all began.
“Music, friendship, memories,” Nick says in the trailer, followed by Joe’s line: “We’re back. Exactly where we’re supposed to be.”
Fans can expect Camp Rock 3 to hit screens in summer 2026.
The synopsis promises a familiar but new story, as Connect 3 returns to Camp Rock after losing an opening spot on a major reunion tour, determined to discover “the next big thing.”
With the brothers clearly excited to revisit the franchise, Joe’s message was simple: They’re doing it for the love of the place where their story began, not the money.
