Holly Willoughby has reportedly decided to sell the black Mini Cooper she was driving when she broke a scooter driver’s neck earlier this year.
the first This morning Star, 44, was involved in the incident on August 28, 2025 and pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention.
The man also suffered a broken toe during the collision, Lavender Hill Magistrates’ Court heard on Tuesday.
Holly was given six penalty points and a fine of £2,444, including court costs, which she must pay within 14 days.
Sources said the sun that Holly recruited a dealer to help her get rid of the car, saying, “the quicker she can get it out of the way and use it for good, the better.”
‘Holly was absolutely devastated to have caused this accident. “It has really shaken her,” they said.
‘Holly wants to start over and doesn’t feel right driving the car again after what happened. “Now he just wants to move on and get rid of the Mini.”
However, Holly did not show up for the hearing on Tuesday morning. Meanwhile, Metropolitan Police prosecutors sought to have the incident treated as Category 1A, the most serious offence.
Following arguments from the star’s defense, the magistrates ruled that the incident fell into Category 1B and was a serious crime.
