Jason Isaacs returns to work after earning his first Golden Globe nomination for his performance in The white lotus Season 3.
The British actor, who has been praised for his gripping portrayal of Tim Ratliff, a white-collar criminal with a dangerously cunning personality, is not taking any breaks.
For Isaacs, the nomination marks a major milestone, but he’s even more excited to get back on set.
He admitted that while the publicity tour for the hit HBO series was an incredible experience, spending months promoting a show is not his true passion.
“I was excited to get back to work because we all spend most of the year advertising. [for The White Lotus]. And although I am privileged and proud to be part of the program, that is not what I do for a living,” he said.
Going back to the character’s work reminded him why he’s here in the first place.
“So I just made three movies in a row. And I feel excited again, energized about what I’m supposed to do, which is tell stories.”
That renewed energy comes with a busy schedule.
Isaacs revealed that he will soon be heading to New York and modestly described the upcoming plans as “a bunch of boring stuff.”
However, beneath that humble tone, it’s clear that he’s in demand and eager to collaborate. “I’m meeting several people through this job,” he shared.
As for what audiences can expect next, Isaacs has completed three upcoming films.

More recently, he reunited with Gillian Anderson to Julia’s outfit after previously working together on The road of salt, an experience he described as “delightful.”
With award recognition fueling new enthusiasm and new projects underway, Isaacs is confidently entering a time in his career that fans will be eager to see unfold.
