We’ve already seen a lot of gadgets and news coming from CES 2025, but the pace doesn’t slow down for the third day of the big tech expo, and we’re still committed to bringing you the best and most interesting options from the show (and there’s a huge number of product launches to examine).
You can check out our recaps from Day 1 of CES 2025 and Day 2 of CES 2025 for the top gadgets and gadgets unveiled so far, and on Day 3 we’ll continue the topic. Below you’ll find crazy e-ink digital signs, laptops with rollable screens, AI systems for your car, and much more.
The usual CES caveats apply: Many of these products are still in the concept or early development stage, so you may not be able to get your hands on them right away. However, they all point to an exciting 2025 for anyone interested in technology. So sit back and let us guide you through the 11 best things we’ve seen on this third day of CES 2025…
1. Lenovo Thinkbook Plus Gen 6 Rollable
- Best feature: The roll-up screen… of course
Forget foldable phones – what about rollable laptop screens? That’s the era we’re officially in now, thanks to Lenovo’s ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable. With the push of a button, the screen can expand from the normal 14 inches to an impressive 16.7 inches when you need some extra vertical space to work.
This is a very decent laptop, apart from the main gimmick: you get an Intel Core Ultra 200V processor, up to 32GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of SSD storage, so you’ll be able to get something serious. calculation performed on it. The laptop will apparently go on sale this year, although we’re still waiting on the price…
2. Pocket Ink Poster
- Best feature: That glorious e-ink screen
The PocketBook InkPoster is exactly the kind of device CES is all about: sleek, innovative and desirable technology that’s expensive but will impress everyone who sees it. It is a premium digital art display that allows you to continually change the artwork displayed on your walls.
As the panel uses E Ink technology, power demands are much lower than with a standard display, and this also makes the art look more traditional and authentic. Three different sizes will be available throughout the year, although you may have to save up a little to be able to afford one – prices start at $599 (around £485 / AU$970) and go up to four. figures.
3. Kanto UKI Bookshelf Speakers
- Best feature: It’s a debate between appearance and price.
If you’re looking for some incredibly cute bookshelf speakers that won’t break the bank, then the new Kanto UKI might be for you.
We haven’t been able to hear them yet at CES 2025, but if the UKI speakers sound half as good as the company’s excellent Ren-powered speakers, then we’ll be big fans.
While you can’t buy them yet (the only ones at CES are prototypes), they’ll launch in the second half of 2025 for just $199/£199 (around AU$319.99). On paper, it’s a great bargain, and you can also choose from striking black, white, cobalt, and sage colors.
4. KaraPod
- Best feature: No need to add water
We’ve seen a lot of coffee machines on TechRadar, but the KaraPod still managed to catch our attention: its unique selling point is the way it works as a dehumidifier as well as a coffee maker, using the condensed water it collects for your drinks. A good ecological idea? Or just a little weird?
According to the team behind the KaraPod, this is all perfectly safe, although your coffee may taste quite different. There’s certainly something appealing about a coffee machine that never needs to refill its water tank, and the device won’t cost you much either – it will soon be available directly from Karawater.
5. Razor blade 16
- Best feature: Top-tier Nvidia graphics power
The Nvidia RTX 5090 is now official (see yesterday’s CES news), which means that laptops can be presented with the GPU installed inside, like the Razer Blade 16, for example. This is an absolute beast of a gaming laptop, with the aforementioned graphics as well as the high-end AMD AI 9 HX 370 CPU.
Being a Razer laptop, we expect impeccable build quality, and the Blade 16 also comes with a high-resolution 240Hz OLED display, as well as a new vapor chamber cooling system. We’re still waiting to find out how much it costs, but it should be available to purchase before the end of March.
6. 4D Nanosheet V2
- Best feature: Easy to connect to any television
Nanoleaf takes on the Philips Ambilight system again with a smart light that changes color and flows with what’s displayed on your TV. Say hello to the Nanoleaf 4D V2, which combines a small camera (for looking at your TV screen) with a flexible light strip that fits around the back of your big screen.
From what we’ve seen of the product at CES 2025, it should be easier to install than most other systems of this type, as there’s no complicated adhesive backing to deal with – the strip simply attaches directly to the back of your television. It will arrive later this year and we expect it to be priced similarly to the original Nanoleaf 4D.
7. Asus ROG Strix Scar
- Best feature: Tool-free upgrades for more storage
Asus has treated us to a slew of new laptops at CES 2025, and the ROG Strix Scar models are particular standouts: The 16- and 18-inch laptops bring with them next-gen Intel and Nvidia parts (up to an RTX 5090 for the graphics), while featuring up to 64GB of RAM and up to 2TB of onboard SSD storage space.
Add in 2.5K mini-LED displays (with 3ms response times and 240Hz refresh rates), plus unnecessary upgrades for the SSD if you ever need it, and it’s a truly impressive, and certainly expensive, package. if prices are set. official. These laptops can tackle absolutely anything and then some.
8. Swann Xtreem4K
- Best feature: AI defending your home
We’re all for AI when it adds features that are actually useful, and that’s the case with the new Swann Xtreem4K, one of several new home security technology products introduced by Swann at CES 2025. The security camera has a onboard AI assistant. that can protect you from intruders or receive guests on your behalf.
The idea is that the device is smart enough to recognize whether the people it detects are friends or enemies, and respond accordingly, even if you are not around. The impressive-looking camera works wirelessly, offers three months between battery charges, and gives you full-color 4K video day and night.
9. BMW iDrive panoramic
- Best feature: A super smart full screen aesthetic
BMW took the opportunity of CES 2025 to unveil its next-generation iDrive system for 2025, and there’s plenty of screen here. The new full-width head-up display stretches from pillar to pillar in front of the driver and displays almost all the information you could want to know while on the road.
Its full title is BMW Panoramic iDrive and it will appear first in the Neue Klasse X electric SUV (and in all BMW cars in the future). BMW has also updated the operating system that underpins its in-car offering, and there will be plenty of customization options to play with when you get behind the wheel. On the downside, fans of physical buttons may be less impressed.
10. Panasonic Z95B OLED TV
- Best feature: The brightest OLED TV yet
Televisions are always a big part of the story at any CES, and this year’s event is no different. One of the highlights this year is Panasonic’s new Z95B OLED, which features a next-generation display stack and cooling system to deliver a noticeable improvement over the (already fantastic) Panasonic Z95A OLED.
One of the benefits of having the TechRadar team on the show floor in Las Vegas is that we can get in-person previews of the newest technology launch in 2025, and based on our early experiences with the Z95B, this will mark a new milestone. standard for OLED TV technology, whenever Panasonic decides to make it available for sale.
11. Honda 0 Series SUV and sedan
- Best feature: Lighter and more elegant designs
Honda is also making itself known at CES 2025, showing off a bold lineup of new electric vehicles that includes the 0 Series SUV and sedan. These engines bring with them some dramatic curves, as well as revised headlight designs and new paint jobs on comparison with what we have seen in previous prototypes.
These cars are based on Honda’s new “Thin, Light and Smart” philosophy, which it promises will result in electric vehicles that are lighter and sleeker than the ones we have now. Unfortunately, it will be some time before we can drive these cars ourselves, as their full launch is scheduled for 2026.
