He is expected to hold bilateral meetings with President Berdimuhamedov and other world leaders.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif left for Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, on Thursday on a two-day official visit, at the invitation of Turkmenistan President Serdar Berdimuhamedow.
During the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz will participate in a forum commemorating the International Year of Peace and Trust 2025, the International Day of Neutrality and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality.
He is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with President Berdimuhamedov, as well as other world leaders attending the event.
The Prime Minister is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and External Affairs Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Energy Sardar Awais Khan Leghari, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar and Special Assistants Tariq Fatemi and Talha Barki.
