ISLAMABAD:
The Federal Ministry of Home Affairs canceled the regularization of 34 officers of the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA).
These officers, who previously served in the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), were regularized in 2012 by a committee headed by Syed Khursheed Shah of the PPP.
According to a notification issued by the ministry, these officials will now be treated as contractual employees. The ministry also sent a copy of the notification to the Auditor General of Pakistan. Some FIA officials had filed a petition against these officials.
