Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are ready to end their 2025 on a pleasant note as they leave the turmoil of the past behind them for the happiness of their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who have not attended the traditional royal Christmas service at Sandringham for the past six years, appeared to have started their own tradition but also added some royal rite of passage to the festive time.
As frosty relations begin to thaw and move toward a much more cordial correspondence with the royal family, especially King Charles, the Sussexes have made some special holiday plans.
Although the Sussexes will not be joining the royal family at Sandringham for Christmas once again this year, they plan to fly out of the US immediately afterwards with their children.

Insiders suggested the Sussexes will not go to the Philippines, where Meghan’s estranged father, Thomas Markle, is hospitalized while recovering from a life-saving leg amputation.
The update comes after Palace released details of a surprise gift that was planned months in advance for families spending holidays away from loved ones.
Charles has always looked out for the outstanding people on the frozen continent, Antarctica, and offered them words of hope and joy. This time he had “gifted” them a Royal Mail lightbox, which would allow them to stay in touch with their loved ones.
This is also a reflection of how Charles understandably feels about being away from his son and grandchildren. However, there is a chance they could finally meet Archie and Lilibet in person while Harry’s safety is reviewed. It remains to be seen when the meeting will actually take place.
