3.3 magnitude earthquake hits Panjgur in Balochistan

PANJGUR: A magnitude 3.3 earthquake shook parts of Panjgur in Balochistan early on Wednesday with the epicenter about 85 kilometers north of the district.

The earthquake had a magnitude of 3.3 and was recorded at a depth of 12 kilometers, the Pakistan Meteorological Department’s National Seismic Monitoring Center (NSMC) said.

The epicenter was about 85 kilometers north of the district headquarters, he added.

Residents reported feeling brief tremors, prompting some people to go outdoors as a precaution.

However, authorities said there were no immediate reports of casualties or damage following the quake.
