NYT Strands Today (Game #654): The Answers
The answers to today’s Strands game #654 are…
- CROOKED
- OBLIQUELY
- CROOKED
- UNBALANCED
- UNEQUAL
- INCLINED
- SPANGRAM: A LITTLE OFF
- My rating: Hard
- My score: 1 track
A lovely game of synonyms that reminded me of various elements of pop culture.
The first is crooked charlie, a cartoon character that a late friend of mine developed in the UK. The second is a pop song that has more than stood the test of time. Inclined from 2014’s Christine & The Queens, best experienced with a video featuring a very DISGUSTING dance routine.
These distractions aside, I had a hard time getting started today and needed a clue in the form of ASKEW. After that it was a circular tour around the board, stopping when I thought the letters OFF must belong to the spangram.
Yesterday’s NYT Strands Answers (Tuesday, December 16, Game #653)
- FUN
- CHARMING
- BEAUTIFUL
- ELEGANT
- KIND-HEARTED
- SPANGRAM: HIGH PRAISE
