Authorities have arrested four main suspects in connection with the kidnapping and brutal murder of three-year-old Muqada in Upper Ghalju, in a case that has shocked the local community.

The tragic incident came to light on November 19, when Abdul Qayyum, the victim’s uncle, reported his three-year-old niece missing at the Ghalju police station. Following the initial report, a formal case was registered under sections 364A/34 of the Pakistan Penal Code after completing preliminary legal procedures.

During investigation, the girl’s body was recovered from a remote hilly area in Upper Ghalju. Given the sensitive and serious nature of the crime, a special Joint Investigation Team (JIT) was formed under the direct supervision of Orakzai DPO Shaukat Ali. The team, composed of investigative, technical and intelligence agents, used modern scientific methods to gather critical evidence.

Investigations revealed that the main suspect, Zena Gul, had conspired with his accomplice Ihsan to kidnap the girl, while Fazal Rehman alias Roman was bribed to assist in the crime.
