LOWER ADDRESS:
Awami National Party (ANP) Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa President Mian Iftikhar Hussain has alleged that terrorism has become a full-fledged business in Pakistan, saying that from the era of General Ziaul Haq till today, the same policy has continued under which Pashtun blood is shed in exchange for dollars.
Addressing a grand accession ceremony organized by ANP Lower Dir, Mian Iftikhar said that terrorism is currently at its peak, government order is absent in the tribal districts and the provincial government seems completely indifferent to the worsening security situation.
He described the punishment awarded to former intelligence official Faiz Hameed as inadequate and stated that accountability for the release of 40,000 terrorists and 102 high-profile terrorist prisoners is still pending. He added that Ehsanullah Ehsan, the murderer of his only son, is still free.
During the event, Malik Naseer Gujjar, along with his family and associates, formally joined the Awami National Party. Former Prime Minister Haider Khan Hoti, Central Finance Secretary Senator Haji Hidayatullah Khan, Provincial General Secretary Hussain Shah Yousafzai, District President Haji Bahadur Khan and other party leaders were also present.
