Nauman, the main accused in a case involving the alleged torture of a domestic worker in the Buffer Zone, has claimed that he has been falsely implicated and that the viral images only show a partial view of the incident, obscuring the full context.

In a video statement circulating on social media, Nauman, a resident of Sector 15-B, Buffer Zone, which is under the jurisdiction of Gabol City Police Station, further claims that if the full video had been released, it would have revealed the true sequence of events. He insists that the edited clip misrepresents the situation and that only part of the incident was intentionally shared to damage his reputation.

Nauman alleges that the maid, Yasmeen Bibi, was incited by a downstairs tenant, Mukhtiar. He claims Mukhtiar had been pressuring him to leave the house for some time and had a history of disputes with him, especially over water supply issues. According to Nauman, Mukhtiar played a key role in instigating Yasmeen against her family.

Nauman describes an incident that occurred on December 10, when he returned home from work and allegedly found Yasmeen holding his son by his mouth and physically hitting him. “No parent can tolerate their child being tortured,” Nauman said.

In a fit of rage, he admitted to hitting Yasmeen in an attempt to intervene and protect his son. However, he insists that the incident has been distorted, claiming that the partial release of the video gave rise to a false narrative.

Nauman further claims that during the altercation, Yasmeen also hit him, hitting his face and eye, and even biting him. He claims that Mukhtiar, instead of intervening, filmed the incident, which he claims is clear evidence of a conspiracy against him.

Nauman and his wife have also alleged that Yasmeen had previously assaulted their son on two separate occasions.

According to Nauman, after the incident, he and his wife went to the Gabol City Police Station to report the matter. However, they claim that the police refused to register a case against Yasmeen, stating that no case could be filed against a woman. The police allegedly acknowledged that Nauman had made a mistake in assaulting Yasmeen, but took no further action.

In his video, Nauman repeatedly admits to his wrongdoing and expresses regret for his actions, but also claims that Yasmeen’s side demanded money in exchange for dropping the complaint, a demand he refused to comply with.

On December 13, Yasmeen Bibi lodged an FIR against Nauman at the Gabol city police station, accusing him of assault. The incident has sparked public interest, with both sides presenting conflicting versions of events and the investigation is ongoing.
