ISLAMABAD:
The Election Commission of Pakistan on Tuesday summoned the returning officer, district returning officer and district police officer over allegations of rigging in constituency NA-185.
A four-member bench of the election monitoring body headed by its Sindh member heard the petition filed by NA-185 candidate Sardar Dost Khosa.
The commission directed the returning officer to submit a detailed report on the case, while the hearing was adjourned till January 7.
The petitioner was represented by his lawyer Latif Khosa. The commission has also summoned the winning candidate of NA-185 to appear in the case.
