Dressed head to toe in a furry green Grinch costume, complete with full facial makeup and a Santa Claus-style coat, Dion fully committed to the role.
Sitting next to a fireplace with her dog resting peacefully on her lap, the Grammy winner recreated one of the most recognizable scenes from How the Grinch Stole Christmastaking inspiration from Jim Carrey’s iconic performance.
In his own humorous version, he performed the character’s lines with dramatic flair, joking about how busy his schedule was and why it simply wasn’t possible to attend the Christmas festivities.
“The nerve of those Whos to invite me there on such short notice,” he said with character.
“Even if I wanted to go, my schedule wouldn’t allow it!” He then humorously listed his “musts,” including vocal exercises, endlessly scrolling through TikTok, and even “solving world hunger,” before jokingly adding, “Don’t tell anyone.”
Staying true to her musical roots, Dion added an unexpected twist by singing parts of her 1996 hit. all on my ownfusing the song with the Grinch’s famous reclusive personality.
