In Police Lines the Christmas cake was cut together with members of the Christian community

Before Christmas, the Christian community received special gifts, cash grants and other facilities, making the occasion an atmosphere of joy even before the holiday.
The district administration and Bhakkar Police actively participated in the celebrations and took practical measures to ensure that members of the Christian community could celebrate their religious festival in a safe, respectful and joyful environment.
Special ceremonies were organized separately at Police Lines Bhakkar and Deputy Commissioner’s Office, which were attended by members of the Christian community, peace committee members, police and district officials, civil society representatives and a large number of students.
At Police Lines, the Christmas cake was cut along with members of the Christian community, while at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, cash prizes, gifts and Eidi were distributed among Christian families and children.
District Police Officer (DPO) Bhakkar Shahzad Rafiq Awan also distributed cash rewards among Christian officers and staff serving in the police department and gave gifts to children to share their happiness.
