Jessica Alba reflected on a scene from one of her iconic films that left her feeling ‘humiliated.’
The 44-year-old highlighted the infamous 2005 bridge sequence. The fantastic four where her character Sue Storm is forced to strip naked to disappear into the crowd.
During her recent appearance at the Red Sea Film Festival on Friday, Alba admitted that the scene was her “least favorite scene” in the film.
Variety reported that Alba told attendees, “I thought it was horrible.”
“It was very humiliating in real life. I grew up in a fairly conservative family and I’m a fairly modest person. I dreaded that scene for weeks.
He also added that he had had the trauma of filming that scene.
“I have a lot of whiplash from those days,” Cash Warren’s ex shared.
Despite the humiliation, Alba emphasized that she still admired Sue Storm as a character.
He described the Invisible Woman as “motherly,” “very kind,” and morally grounded.
Alba considered Storm to be the superhero who broke gender stereotypes at a time when women in action films were often portrayed as people who needed to be saved.
“[she was] he is not easy to convince; she said what she thought. No matter who you are, you can admire her,” Alba said.
Alba finally stepped away from superhero movies after Fantastic Four: The Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007),
