Princess Charlotte dismissed the shocking claims made by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with her significant gesture during the Sandringham walk.
The Welsh children George, Charlotte and Louis surprised viewers and royal fans with their polite Christmas Day outing with their parents and other key royals.
However, one moment that caught the eye was when Charlotte shared a warm hug with supporters of the royal family, melting their hearts.
Social media users praised the 10-year-old princess’ heartfelt move. One fan wrote: “She has perfect role models for her parents.”
“Princess Charlotte is a sweetheart,” wrote another.
Importantly, Prince William was also recently photographed hugging footballer Jill Scott to mark the centenary of the Fields in Trust charity.
The father-daughter duo publicly denied claims once made by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex about the future king’s aversion to hugging.
On her controversial Netflix show, Meghan said she was a “hugger, but she “didn’t realize that it’s really jarring for a lot of Brits.”
“I began to understand that the formality of the exterior was transferred to the interior,” added Archie and Lilibet’s mother.
Additionally, Harry wrote in his powerful memoir Spare that William “backed away” when Meghan moved forward to hug him.
The Duke recalled that the moment “completely scared him.” [William] outside.”
