Lady Louise defends King Charles amid family changes

Lady Louise Windsor paid a heartfelt tribute to her uncle, King Charles, in her final public appearance with the royal family.

Prince Edward and Duchess’ daughter Sophie joined the royals on December 25 at the Sandringham estate for Christmas celebrations.

The 22-year-old looked beautiful in an elegant outfit, walking with her family while greeting supporters of the monarchy.

But one specific item that caught the eye was her green and gray plaid scarf.

According to Royal British Fashion’s Instagram page, the scarf appears to be from the King’s Highgrove estate in Gloucestershire.

katie daly, Hello! lifestyle writer, said Lady Louise gave her uncle a sweet nod, a sign of support amid family tensions.

She said: “It was lovely to see Lady Louise wearing one of the King’s Highgrove scarves.”

“Not only was it an elegant choice for the occasion (royal ladies, including her mother, Duchess Sophie, love a classic checked scarf for winter engagements due to its timeless look), but a nod to the bond she shares with her uncle the King and her work with The King’s Foundation, which works for a more sustainable world,” the expert added.

The year 2025 saw major changes in the royal family. King Charles stripped her brother Andrew of his titles and honors, which also affected Fergie’s position in the family.

This holiday season seems extra special for the monarch, and rarely seen royalty stepped up for him.
