- Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro are ready to launch
- These headphones have been approved by the FCC.
- We may see them appear alongside the Galaxy S26.
We’ve heard a lot about the Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 and Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro in recent months, and now it seems that the launch of these wireless earbuds is imminent, according to new information that has emerged online.
As SamMobile discovered, the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro have been approved by the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC), an essential regulatory step for any device that goes on sale in the United States.
There’s no mention of the standard Galaxy Buds 4 in this report, but we’ll almost certainly see both pairs of wireless earbuds launch together, and once FCC certification is out of the way, it usually doesn’t take long before a product appears.
The presentation doesn’t really tell us much about the headphones, but previous leaks have revealed a flatter and more compact design this time around. It seems that head gestures will also be supported to answer calls, as we have already seen in the Apple AirPods.

Another previous leak pointed to parts that were apparently set for the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, although the listing that was released didn’t give us any solid indication as to what features and audio upgrades the earbuds could bring with them.
Considering that the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro and Samsung Buds 3 were released in July 2024, along with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, as you may remember, one could argue that the fourth-generation versions are already delayed.
We’re most likely seeing a launch alongside the Samsung Galaxy S26 series, with those phones rumored to appear in February. We might even see phones and headphones bundled together in various pre-order deals, when the time comes.
Considering that references to these headphones have already started appearing in Samsung’s One UI 8.5 software, which is currently in beta testing, it shouldn’t be long before we have some new contenders for our list of the best wireless headphones.
