ISLAMABAD:

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi on Sunday warned that the province could not sustain itself for even two days if the army withdrew, saying the provincial ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lacked the capacity to manage law and order on its own.

Speaking to reporters at the Islamabad Press Club, the governor said intelligence-based operations were inevitable to ensure peace and stability in KP, and stressed that the provincial government must provide full support to such efforts.

He said that without peace, economic activity and business could not function.
