Strategy (MSTR), the largest publicly traded bitcoin holder resumed purchases after increasing its US dollar reserves to $2.2 billion the previous week.
The company acquired 1,229 bitcoins last week for $108.8 million, at an average price of $88,568 per coin, according to a document released Monday morning.
Total holdings increased to 672,497 BTC, purchased for $50.44 billion, representing an average purchase price of $74,997 per bitcoin.
The acquisition was financed through the sale of $108.8 million of Class A common stock.
MSTR shares fell 1% in premarket trading to $157 per share, while bitcoin fell to around $87,000.
