- LG G6 leak suggests 3,300 nits of brightness and more anti-reflective screen
- Comes in the same 48- to 97-inch sizes as the G5
- The leak also shows a 77- and 83-inch W6 ‘Wallpaper’ TV
The 2026 version of LG’s flagship G-series OLED TV, the LG G6, appears to have been leaked not once but twice, and alongside the LG G6 leak there is also what appears to be a new ‘wallpaper’ TV, the LG W6.
As Videocardz reports, the leaks come from two different sources and while you should take the alleged leaks with a bit of skepticism, they sure seem real and we know LG has a slew of TVs to show off imminently at CES 2026.
The first leaked model is the LG G6 Evo AI, which appears with a new RGB Tandem WOLED according to the new LG brand. Leaked marketing material describes it as “Brightness Booster Ultra” with a claimed brightness of up to 3.9 times the brightness of “a regular OLED TV (B6)” and an updated anti-reflective coating. The leaked material claims to have a maximum brightness of up to 3300 nits.
LG G6 OLED and W6 leaks: key revelations
In addition to that brighter panel, the leak details more specifications of the LG G6, including screen sizes of 48, 55, 65, 77, 83 and 97 inches and a third-generation Alpha 11 AI processor with 5.6 times the neural performance compared to the current version.
As with previous generations, it looks like the G6 could be one of the best gaming TVs thanks to four HDMI 2.1 ports and a 165Hz plus 4K mode up to 120Hz for cloud gaming services. The materials detail support for a flood of acronyms: VRR, ALLM, eARC, QMS and QFT in addition to Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, Miracast, AirPlay 2 and Chromecast. The operating system is webOS 26 with a five-year update guarantee.
The leaked materials also include an LG OLED Evo AI TV with the model number W6 and sizes of 77 and 83 inches. It has a “Zero Connect wallpaper design” and a profile of just 99mm, and the panel features “Brightness Booster Ultra” and the same AI processor as the G6.
LG’s line of Wallpaper OLED TVs was legendary among tech writers a few years ago: In 2017, the W7 OLED TV was just 2.57mm thick and mounted to the wall using magnets, because there was no room for screws or anything. It was an expensive OLED masterpiece.
Last year, LG announced the return of the Wallpaper line, but the information flew under the radar (it wasn’t mentioned in our team’s big TV briefings with LG), there wasn’t much follow-up, but if the information is mentioned in these marketing materials, that suggests a bigger push in 2026.
The LG C6 OLED is also mentioned along with the previous suggestion of a B6 model, but so far there are no further details on that one.
We expect to see the new LG OLED TVs at CES 2026, so stay tuned for official details.
