Model Olivia Ponton, the rumored girlfriend of Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, reflected on her year on social media in a two-day Q&A with her followers.
Ponton was asked about the “most difficult moment of 2025.” She noted that the month of October was quite difficult for her. At the same time, Burrow was rehabbing a toe injury that kept him sidelined until the Bengals’ Thanksgiving night game against the Baltimore Ravens.

“October was a pretty difficult month for me, but luckily I had this girl by my side,” he wrote in response to the question.
After Burrow returned, he made some concerning comments about his future. The former LSU standout was asked if his latest injury changed the way he views the game.
“It certainly doesn’t change my desire to win. If I want to keep doing this, I have to have fun doing it,” he said. “I’ve been through a lot and if it’s not fun, why do I do it? So that’s the mentality I’m trying to bring to the table.”
Burrow added that his thinking now was based on reflection on his career.
“I’m not sure there was a singular time or moment,” he said. “It’s a reflection of a lot of things I’ve done and been through in my career. I think I’ve been through more than most and it’s certainly not easy on the brain or the body. So I’m just trying to have fun doing it again.”

He also mentioned that there were “a lot of things” going on in his personal and professional life, but did not elaborate.
Still, Ponton suggested he was keeping his cool.
“2025 was a year where we focused on stability and consistency in 2026,” he wrote. “I want to travel to some new countries on my bucket list.”

Ponton made it clear that he had no superstitions, but he planned to start the New Year on a healthy note.
“I wouldn’t say superstitions, but I love starting the year on a positive note, in some kind of ‘challenge’ that I can complete myself so that I can incorporate healthy habits (2026),” she added.

Ponton and Burrow were linked as an item in December 2024, as she was the one who reported the robbery at the quarterback’s home. She never spoke publicly about the incident.
