The alleged victim stated that she and Barmore argued over the temperature of a room and over food.

Barmore allegedly grabbed the victim’s phone as he tried to leave. The alleged victim then “tried to open the door and scream for help, but Christian grabbed her before she could and threw her to the ground.” Barmore then allegedly grabbed the victim by the shirt near his neck. Barmore also allegedly told the victim that he would make his cousin “f— [her] above.”

“[Victim] You are worried that he might hire someone to hurt you and make your life difficult. [Victim] “He mentioned that he had heard Christian threaten people before while saying that with the money he has he can hire anyone…” said a police report obtained by Pak Gazette Digital. “About a week later, [Victim] She sent me some text messages between her and Christian. “These were older messages, but she wanted him to see them because, according to her, they showed what he is capable of doing, especially when it comes to someone hurting her.”

Barmore has been charged with one count of assault and battery on a family or household member. The alleged victim also said she no longer wants to have ties to Barmore.

Barmore is scheduled to be arraigned on Feb. 3, five days before Super Bowl LX. The Patriots could win first place in the AFC this weekend.

“The New England Patriots are aware of reports of an allegation pending in February involving Christian Barmore, arising from an alleged domestic incident that occurred in August. The Patriots were informed at the time of the incident and informed the NFL in a timely manner,” the team said in a statement. “The matter remains part of an ongoing legal process. We will respect that process, continue to monitor the situation closely, as we have in recent months, and fully cooperate with the league. We will have no further comment at this time.”

News of Barmore’s charges comes just one day after it was revealed that his Diggs teammate allegedly strangled his cook for money earlier this month. The woman told police that Diggs “punched her in the face,” she tried to push him away and then he “tried to strangle her by using his elbow around her neck.”
