Pakistani superstar Mahira Khan, after making an impressive display of her talent on the big screen, is finally returning to television, but she is “a little scared” of her return.
In an interview with cnnThe ‘Neelofer’ star revealed his wins and losses from his 15-year journey in the entertainment industry, which resulted in a lot of love, respect and adoration.
“Next year I will be 15 years in this industry,” Mahira said, which she described as a little scary for her.
“I’m going back to TV. I’m a little scared about it, but I think that’s the exciting thing. That something is scaring me, you know?”
Talking about the chemistry between her and her ‘Neelofar’ co-star Fawad Khan, who always shared different vibes with her viewers, the actress believes, “It is a blessing that they have given us so much love, respect and adoration together.
“I think what we have in common is that we are both very respectful of each other’s space and our craft,” he said, adding: “I’m a spontaneous actor, he’s […] “He has a different type of method and we both understand each other’s rhythms.”
Mahira also recalled her student life when she was in the US state of California and said, “I always give credit to America for all these years I lived and worked in America, there is a big part of me and that time for me as a Pakistani girl.”
The actress said she takes her son to the United States every summer and tells him about the memories she spent there. She believes those were her “very important years of life.”
