Lauren Silverman expressed nothing but gratitude as the year came to a close, revealing that she is “grateful” for her relationship with the music mogul as they head into 2026.

Despite the happy photo, the American socialite and businesswoman, 48, admitted that she finds the New Year “isolating and difficult” as she decided to stay sober.

For the unversed, the couple is preparing to get married this year. However, they spent the holiday at their home in Barbados and shared a poolside photo to honor the occasion.

Lauren, who recently joined Instagram, shared the photo of Simon, 66, shirtless and wearing a pair of pale blue shorts.

Lauren, who has now legally changed her last name to Cowell, cut a chic figure in a low-cut black swimsuit, a matching sarong and a pair of stylish sunglasses.

Sharing a gushing post about Simon, Lauren said: ‘Grateful for standing by me as one year ends and another begins. Happy new year everyone. May this be an ending that leads to something beautiful.’

However, she also highlighted her struggles at this time of year, as she talked about how difficult it can be to be the only person not drinking at celebrations.

Lauren explained: ‘This is my second alcohol-free New Year’s Eve. Sometimes nights like this can be difficult and isolating.

Especially when you’re the only one not drinking on a night of celebration. But it’s worth it. If you’re trying, struggling, or just thinking about it, I see you. I know what it feels like and you have this.
