The FDC reiterated the army’s zero tolerance policy towards threats to national security

Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defense Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir visited the Lahore garrison on Thursday where he was briefed on the operational readiness of the formation, training standards and measures aimed at improving combat efficiency, the army’s media wing said.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the army chief observed a specialized field training exercise that demonstrated the use of modern technologies, reflecting the army’s focus on innovation and adaptability to meet future battlefield challenges.
During the visit, Field Marshal Munir also inspected the sports and recreational facilities provided to the troops, underlining their role in maintaining physical fitness, morale and general well-being.

He later visited a high care facility at Combined Military Hospital (CMH), Lahore, where he congratulated the medical staff and administration for establishing a modern and fully equipped healthcare facility.
Addressing the officers, the army chief reiterated the army’s zero-tolerance policy towards threats to national security, reaffirming the army’s resolve to respond to evolving challenges with professionalism and determination.
He said the armed forces remain committed to safeguarding the sovereignty, territorial integrity and internal stability of Pakistan, while promoting discipline, excellence and selfless national service.
