Gigabyte had a huge focus on AI at this year’s CES, particularly on the data center side. But in the case of consumer technology, the company focused heavily on its laptops and accessories wing with updated systems across the lineup.
If you’re trying to identify the Gigabyte releases that are most worth your time, these are the three you should pay attention to.
Aorus Master 16 AMD
The Gigabyte Aorus Master 16 was one of TechRadar’s Computex best gaming laptops last year, and Gigabyte is showing off an AMD model at CES this year that you won’t want to miss.
With an AMD Ryzen Ryzen 9 9955HX3D processor, Nvidia GeForce RTX GPU up to RTX 5090 and a 16-inch 240Hz OLED display, the Aorus Master 16 AM6H is a worthy upgrade to the Aorus Master 16 2025. Of course, the main difference between the two versions of the Aorus Master 16 is the CPU, but the chassis is also 17% slimmer than the 2025 model. Reducing a gaming laptop by 17% is not an easy task in general. But if Gigabyte’s newer, slimmer Aorus Master 16 can get the same RTX 5090 performance, it’s an impressive piece of thermal engineering.
RTX 5060 Ti AI Box
While AI-branded, the RtX 5060 Ti AI Box is an eGPU case that brings Nvidia Blackwell graphics to any laptop or portable device thanks to its Thunderbolt 5 connection.
If you have an older gaming laptop or an iGPU device that could use some additional LLM or gaming processing power, the RTX 5060 Ti AI Box is a solid way to upgrade without buying a whole new computer. And unlike the RTX 5090 AI Box, you can afford the 5060 Ti.
While the 5060 Ti AI Box isn’t exactly designed to be a portable eGPU, it is significantly more portable than the water-cooled RTX 5090 AI Box, which is another point in its favor. While no Gigabyte eGPU can be upgraded, if you’re purchasing an eGPU, it will be helpful to be able to take it on the go without worrying about the integrity of your spine.
MO27Q28GR OLED
We’ve seen a lot of interesting monitors this year, including 5K IPS screens and low latency OLED. But the Gigabyte MO2728GR stands out with its proprietary Hyper-Nits technology, which can boost HDR brightness by up to 30% to boost screen brightness without blowing out highlight details or crushing lowlights.
The MO27Q28GR is a tandem OLED with a maximum resolution of 1440p and a refresh rate of 280Hz, which is more than enough for most games. And it has ultra-low latency with a response time of 0.03 ms.
