MSI’s big updates for the year focused primarily on the company’s business and AI devices, across laptops, desktops, and all-in-one PCs.
MSI also introduced a new Glacier Blue color scheme for the Claw 8 AI+ and updated its line of desktop components for a new ecosystem. But there were four new products that really shined in MSI’s new lineup and they weren’t just a chipset update or a new coat of paint.
Raider 16 Max HX
This year, CES didn’t come with all-new gaming processors, but that didn’t stop MSI from updating the Raider 16 for even more power. With a staggering 300W of power, the Raider 16 Max HX is the “most powerful laptop ever created” by MSI. Which is saying a lot considering the sheer power of last year. Raider A18 HX.
The Raider 16 Max HX’s incredible 300W of total device power will be split between the laptop’s Intel Core Ultra 200HX CPU and its Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 or 5090 GPU with a split of 125W for the CPU and 175W for the GPU.
Additionally, it has a quick access panel on the bottom cover for easier memory and storage upgrades. So even if the Raider 16 Max HX costs more than the rental, you’ll be able to keep it for years.
Prestigio 14 Flip AI
The Prestige 14 Flip AI is similar to last year Summit 13 AI+although it has the sleek new Prestige design instead of the Summit’s black and gold color scheme and features Intel’s new Core Ultra 300 series CPUs.
With the MSI Pen 2 and a 360-degree convertible hinge, the Prestige 14 Flips is the most portable and versatile of the new Prestige line.
Vision RS AI 2nd generation
MSI also updated the Vision RS AI Desk this year. With a seamless curved glass panel and an all-white casing, the Vision RS AI 2nd Gen is a powerful, liquid-cooled machine that can run your AI models or games without missing a beat.
And it just looks pretty. Instead of the usual RGB-heavy gaming design, the Vision RS AI 2nd Gen is clean and unobtrusive. In addition, it can be equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 9 and an Nvidia RTX 5090.
MPG 27QRFX36
Fast OLED displays are all over CES this year, but the MPG 27QRF is one of the best versions with a 360Hz, 0.5ms panel that features Nvidia’s G-Sync Pulsar motion clarity and a variable refresh rate.
It also has a built-in webcam and an ultra-clean design with a sturdy base.
