In general, wet and dry vacuums are sturdy beasts. Sure, they’ll leave your hard floors spotlessly clean, but you may need a sit down after use and an XL cleaning cabinet to store them in too.
Tineco – one of the leading brands in this field – has released a new model that aims to change all that. The FLOOR ONE i7 Fold is a wet and dry vacuum that looks (and moves) almost like a cordless stick vacuum. I had the chance to try one out at CES 2026 and was impressed with how compact and agile it was.
The i7 Fold weighs just under 8 pounds (3.6 kg), which is actually less than some regular stick vacuums, including the cordless Shark PowerDetect (8.38 pounds/3.8 kg). It’s impressively stylish for this type of cleaner, but the feature that really stands out when it comes to usability is that it can swivel forward in the middle.
That means it can be folded into an L shape for easy cleaning under furniture. It’s an idea taken from the best cordless vacuums and is a game-changer if you don’t want to have to get on the floor to clean under cabinets. This model can also lie completely flat, and Tineco has added a small wheel to the bottom of the main body to make maneuvering in this position easier.
The forward-folding body also means this cleaner can be folded in half for more compact storage.
A Tineco rep explained to me that shrinking the body of this wet-dry vacuum cleaner was a huge feat of engineering. Surprisingly, there are no major compromises in terms of performance either – it has only slightly less suction power than Tineco’s full-size options and will also typically last between 20 and 30 minutes per charge (or up to 50 in Eco mode), which is decent for this type of cleaner.
The Floor One i7 Fold is listed on Tineco’s US site, but is not yet available for purchase. I’m confirming release dates and pricing and will update this article when I know more.
