Operation carried out after credible reports of the presence of terrorists affiliated with the proxy group ‘Fitna al-Hindustan’
On January 12, security forces killed four Indian-sponsored terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in Balochistan’s Kalat district, the army’s media wing said on Monday. The operation was carried out following credible reports of the presence of terrorists affiliated with the Indian group ‘Fitna al-Hindustan’.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the terrorists were neutralized after an intense exchange of fire, while arms and ammunition were recovered from the spot. The eliminated terrorists had been involved in multiple acts of terrorism in the region, he added.
The ISPR further informed that disinfection operations are being carried out to ensure that no other Indian-sponsored terrorists remain in the area.
The media wing of the army stressed that the relentless anti-terror campaign, carried out under the ‘Azm-e-Istehkam’ vision and approved by the Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan, will continue at full pace.
