LAHORE:
An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Wednesday adjourned hearing on the post-arrest bail applications filed by former foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi in two cases related to the May 9 vandalism and arson incidents.
ATC Judge Manzer Ali Gill conducted the hearing.
Qureshi was represented by lawyer Rana Mudassar Umar, while the prosecution sought additional time to submit the complete record of the cases.
The defendant’s lawyer argued that the prosecution was deliberately trying to delay the bail process by requesting repeated postponements.
