A landslide in the hill village of Qamar in Tehsil Gumbat of Kohat district claimed the lives of seven people and left one injured, Rescue 1122 officials said on Wednesday.
The incident occurred earlier this week when a part of a hillside suddenly collapsed, burying eight people under huge debris.
Rescue teams launched an intensive search and rescue operation, which has now formally concluded after days of continuous efforts.
According to a Rescue 1122 spokesperson, seven bodies were recovered from the rubble, while one injured survivor was successfully rescued.
