Prominent politician Muhammad Ali Durrani has said that the appointment of opposition leaders backed by former Prime Minister Imran Khan in the National Assembly and Senate is an important step in building trust.
He claimed that the move could lead to the emergence of a consensus PML-N prime ministerial candidate acceptable to the PTI.
In an interview, Durrani said the move, carried out under the leadership of PML-N president Nawaz Sharif, can open the door to political reconciliation between the government and the opposition, helping to reduce political instability in the country.
