Strands is the latest NYT word game after Wordle, Spelling Bee, and Connections, and it’s a lot of fun. It can be difficult, though, so read on for my Strands suggestions.

A rare game where I got the spangram first, which revealed the word VIBE and a firmer understanding of the type of words we were looking for.
The letter Q helped make drilling QUAKE together easier and unlocked the rest of the board, but if you needed a clue, there were also plenty of non-game words visible.
The word WOBBLE always amuses me, mainly because it brings back memories of an old advertisement for an egg-shaped toy from the 1970s called Weebles, which rejoiced in the slogan “Weebles wobble, but they don’t fall.”
