So no, we’re not talking about Samsung, Google or even OnePlus. Instead, it could be Vivo that launches the best camera phone of 2026, if the latest leak about the Vivo X300 Ultra is accurate.
According to Digital Chat Station (via NotebookCheck), the Vivo X300 Ultra will have the largest multispectral sensor in the industry. Such a sensor can improve color accuracy, so if it has the largest in the industry, then the Vivo X300 Ultra has the opportunity to capture colors more accurately than any other phone.
Lots of megapixels and a lot of power
But that’s not all it could have going for it, as in a response to its post, Digital Chat Station also claimed that this phone will have a 35mm lens built by famous lens maker Zeiss, and that it will use a 200MP Sony LYT-901 sensor.

That’s a combination that, at least on paper, sounds extremely impressive and unlike some Chinese phones, leaks suggest that the Vivo X300 Ultra will be sold worldwide, so you might be able to buy it.
It remains to be seen how good this phone will be in practice, but with it said to be launching in March, we may have a better idea soon. That initial launch will likely be only for China, but could land in other regions later this year.
