- The Realme P4 Power has a 10,001mAh battery
- Despite this enormous capacity, it weighs only 219 g.
- It will launch in India on January 29, with a global launch to be confirmed.
It looks like we’re in the middle of a battery capacity revolution, as after the 7,300 mAh OnePlus 15 jumped ahead of the 5,000 mAh smartphone standard last year, Realme has now shown off a phone with a 10,001 mAh battery.
Dubbed Realme P4 Power, this phone will be launched on January 29, but the company has already shared many details about it, including that the phone can apparently manage 185.7 hours of music playback, 21.3 hours of browsing, 32.5 hours of YouTube or 72.3 hours of calls on a single charge.
So this is a battery that for most people will probably last at least a few days, and could last up to about a week if you’re a light enough user. Despite that, the Realme P4 Power weighs only 219g, which is about the same as the 5000mAh one. Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and less than the 5,088 mAh iPhone 17 Pro Max.
This is largely due to silicon anode technology, which can store more energy than the graphite used in traditional lithium-ion batteries. This technology, which is also used in some electric vehicles, means higher energy density for a similar weight, helping the P4 Power avoid brick status.
This is not more power. This is the power rewritten. 10001 mAh does not raise the bar. He takes it so far that no one can reach it. realme P4Power will be launched on January 29. Learn more, stay tuned! pic.twitter.com/UgRH5xOS7TJanuary 20, 2026
Fast charging and built to last
The P4 Power also charges at 80W and offers 27W reverse charging, making it very viable as a means of powering other devices.
Additionally, the phone has passed military-grade impact tests and the battery health should be able to stay above 80% for up to eight years, so it won’t wear out quickly.
Battery aside, the Realme P4 Power has a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra 5G chipset, a 50MP main camera, and a 144Hz display with a maximum brightness of 6,500 nits, so its other specs look promising too.
Price and availability are the big remaining questions, as the initial launch was apparently only for India, but with a battery like that we certainly expect it to go global.
