Ashley Tisdale returns to the world of Sharpay Evans and fans are loving every second of it.
Exactly 20 years later high school musical Broadcast for the first time, the actress proved that the magic of Disney is still alive by reliving some of her most iconic Sharpay looks and sharing the moment on social media.
To commemorate the milestone, Tisdale turned her warehouse hallway into a fun catwalk, strutting around in original costumes from the film.
In a video posted to Instagram, he wrote, “You can take the girl out of East High… but you can’t take Sharpay out of the girl,” while jump to the top played in the background.
She added another sassy caption: “20 years and two babies later, I’m still getting into these looks,” making it clear that she’s embracing nostalgia with humor and confidence.
Tisdale showed off three unforgettable ensembles closely tied to Sharpay’s on-screen legacy.
She first appeared in the turquoise ruffled dress from Jump to the top, paired with metallic silver heels.
Then came the pink tweed skirt suit and satin camisole, complete with Sharpay’s iconic Sidekick phone still in her hand.
She closed the video in the purple satin minidress, pink ribbed tank top, and silver sequin bolero she wore during What I’ve been looking for.
That same day, Tisdale also shared a carousel of throwback photos from the films, reflecting on how little the cast knew about the impact the film would have.
“20 years ago we had no idea what this would become,” she wrote, adding, “I love you, Sharpay. And let me tell you… we still look fabulous!”
Other cast members are also celebrating the anniversary.
Zac Efron, who was only 18 when the first film was made, said PEOPLE“I was so young when we made high school musicaland it was just a great experience.”
He added: “I never would have imagined that it would still mean so much to people 20 years later, or that a whole new generation would connect with it, and I’m grateful for that.”
Disney+ also celebrates the moment by launching a dedicated page high school musical broadcast channel from January 7 to March 4, with the three films, Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventureand every season High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.
