Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni Finish with us The lawsuit has brought to light new details involving many famous names, including Taylor Swift, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon.
Recently sent email logs revealed that the Gossip Girl The alum became close to her co-star Affleck, as well as Damon, while she was conflicted with Baldoni over the film.
According to the documents, Lively asked the Goodwill Hunt star to see his cut of the film and give his opinion.
“I just came out on the other side (well, almost) of the most disturbing experience I’ve ever had on film,” the Simple Favor actress wrote in an email obtained by Us weekly.
He continued: “Documentary making of this film would be more interesting than the film could ever be. It’s like Wild Wild Country, Fyre Festival and Going Clear had a baby with The Room… Although Room works too.”
Lively referred to Baldoni as “the chaotic clown” instead of mentioning him by name, and claimed that everyone she hired to work with is “in a cult.”
Lively’s email to Damon was also included in the filing, which read: “This movie almost killed me. The director/co-star/producer/financier/studio head (yes, all one person) had no experience, but the good news is he also has no taste and a huge ego, but only because he’s in a cult and thinks he’s the prophet of our century,” Lively wrote. “I wish some of these things were hyperbole.”
Damon’s alleged response to Lively stated that he would offer her any help she needed. Swift had a similar reaction to her friend’s emails and seemed to offer full support.
