ISLAMABAD:
Home Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Monday visited the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports, where he formally inaugurated the Secure Hybrid Intelligence for Knowledge-Based Response Analysis (Shukra).
The state-of-the-art monitoring system has been designed to track passport applications, printing and departmental performance in real time.
As part of the upgrade, a 24/7 monitoring room and call center have been put into operation at DG Immigration and Passports. By directive of the Minister, the emergency travel document issuance system has also been completely digitized. The officials briefed the Home Minister in detail about the Shukra system.
